Yame Shira Cha [Competition Grade]

$9.50

Origin: Japan, Fukuoka, Yame

Grade: Competition, ISO 22000, JAS

Production: Eco-responsible product from healthy and natural cultivation without chemicals, without the use of pesticides and made fairly according to the international standards of "Rainforest Alliance" and "Ethical Tea Partnership".

Our Yame tea garden has been the recipient of numerous global awards for the excellence of their products for years, and is ISO 22000 and JAS certified.

This tea won the gold medal at the World Green Tea Award 2010. From a cultivar with whitish buds found only in the Yame region, the name of this tea means "white tea" in Japanese; attributed by the whitish color of its leaves. Highly renowned, this tea, which has already won world awards, is of incomparable quality. It is, however, a first-harvest Sencha green tea variety whose leaves have been meticulously processed by hand.

When infused, its yellow-green liquor is dense like a juice, full of theine and nutrients. Smooth on the palate and without astringency, it has rich fruity and buttery Umami notes.

Preparation: 5g=250ml / 70C° / 1min / 3infusions
