(Kagoshima, Japan) This tea comes from Yakushima Island, located in southern Japan; and is one of the first to produce tea in spring. From the first spring harvest, this reserve-grade Shincha is made from the renowned Saemidori cultivar, from the island's best tea plants.
It offers notes of fresh aromatic herbs, umami and melon. Fresh and round on the palate, it leaves a beautiful sweet sensation on the finish. A grand cru!
