Shincha from Tanegashima | Tsuyumidori [Reserve Grade]

$13.50

Origin: Tanegashima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan

Grade: Reserve, 1st spring harvest

Cultivar: Asanoka

Production: Eco-responsible product from healthy and natural farming without chemicals, without pesticide use and made in a fair way according to international "Rainforest Alliance" and "Ethical Tea Partnership" standards.

(Kagoshima, Japan) This reserve grade Shincha, from Tanegashima Island, is one of the first Japanese teas produced of the year. From the first spring harvest, Chumushi type, it is made from tea leaves from the Tsuyumidori cultivar, meaning "green mist."

Its rich and gourmet liqueur offers notes of cream, butter, umami, toasted rice, then evolves towards sweeter tones reminiscent of cane, corn and caramelized ginger. A delicious grand cru!
