Grade: Reserve, first spring harvest
Production: Eco-responsible product from healthy and natural cultivation without chemicals, without the use of pesticides and made fairly according to the international standards of "Rainforest Alliance" and "Ethical Tea Partnership".
(Kagoshima, Japan) This tea comes from the island of Tanegashima, located in southern Japan; and is one of the first to produce tea in spring. From the first spring harvest, this reserve-grade Shincha is made from tea leaves from the Kuritawase cultivar, unique to the island.
It offers notes of fresh aromatic herbs, umami, caramelized cherry blossom, and a hint of warm spices. On the palate, it is very rich with a round and sweet finish. A grand cru!
