Shincha from Tanegashima "Mineyutaka" [Reserve Grade]

$10.75 $13.00
Origin: Japan, Tanegashima, Kagoshima

Grade: Reserve, first spring harvest

Production:
Eco-responsible product from healthy and natural cultivation without chemicals, without pesticide use, and made fairly according to international "Rainforest Alliance" and "Ethical Tea Partnership" standards.

(Kagoshima, Japan) This tea comes from Tanegashima Island, located in the south of Japan; and is one of the first to produce tea in spring. From the first spring harvest, this reserve-grade Shincha is made from the best tea leaves from the Mineyutaka cultivar (registered in 1996), unique to the island.

When infused, it starts with light and fresh spring notes reminiscent of flower nectar, evolving towards notes of corn, ripe fruit, ginger, and a hint of umami. A grand cru!

Preparation: 5g=250ml / 70C° / 30sec / 4 infusions
