Origin: Yame Prefecture, Japan
Grade: Reserve, 1st Spring Harvest
Cultivar: Okumidori
(Yame, Japan) This "reserve" grade Kabusecha, handcrafted in limited quantities, comes from the first spring harvest. It is made from the Okumidori cultivar, the fruit of the labor of artisan growers from Shizuoka Prefecture, developed since 1974.
On the palate, it offers slightly roasted notes of nuts, cream, umami, then finishes with a beautiful roundness of ripe fruits, reminiscent of mango among others. A grand cru with gourmet notes!
