Our Yame tea garden has received numerous global awards for the excellence of its products for years, and is ISO 22000 and JAS certified.
This "reserve" grade Kabusecha comes from the first spring harvest, produced artisanally in limited quantities on the mountain peaks of the Yame region. It was made from the very rare and experimental Fujimidori cultivar, developed to offer rich and umami notes - perfect for the production of sencha and shaded teas such as Kabusecha.
On the palate, it offers gourmet notes of sweet corn, umami, cream, vanilla and apple, leaving a beautiful sweet and soft sensation on the finish. A grand cru!
