(Miyazaki, Japan) Miyazaki Prefecture is renowned for producing Japan's finest organic green teas. This reserve grade Kabusecha comes from the first spring harvest. It is made from the Kirari 31 cultivar, known for producing excellent Gyokuros, developed by the Tea Industry Branch of Miyazaki Prefecture Agricultural Experimental Site in 1994.
On the palate, it offers gourmet notes of sweet corn, umami, cream, vanilla, and a floral bouquet. The finish leaves a beautiful fresh and light sensation reminiscent of a Shin Gyokuro. A grand cru!
