(Miyazaki, Japan) Originally from Miyazaki Prefecture - renowned for producing Japan's finest organic teas. This medium-roasted green tea is handcrafted and traditionally made "Hon Dentou". Produced from the Yabukita cultivar, its leaves are harvested in early winter, grown on wild hillsides.
In terms of taste, it is subtly woody, with lightly creamy cocoa notes, a hint of coffee and dried fruit, finishing with a beautiful roundness and a sweet sensation in the mouth. It is very low in theine and is well suited for evening consumption. A grand cru with gourmet notes.
