Hojicha-Matcha from Yame [Imperial Grade]

$23.00

Origin: Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan

Grade: First spring harvest

Cultivar: Yabukita

Production: Eco-responsible product from healthy and natural cultivation without chemicals, without pesticide use, and made fairly according to international "Rainforest Alliance" and "Ethical Tea Partnership" standards.

Storage: To offer you optimal freshness, our matcha, which is regularly produced in small batches, was made from Tencha leaves that were refrigerated until grinding. It was then shipped to us by plane to reduce heat exposure time, and finally stored in our refrigerators until your purchase. To maintain its freshness, it is advisable to keep it refrigerated until consumption.

Our Yame tea garden has received numerous global awards for the excellence of their products for years and is ISO 22000 and JAS certified.

This lightly roasted green tea comes from the first spring harvest, made from leaves used for the production of Gyokuro tea from the famous Yame region, then ground into powder to transform it into a matcha. It offers a tea without theine or bitterness with gourmet notes!

Its liquor offers intense notes of cocoa and toasted wood.

Ideally consumed as a latte; a perfect substitute for chocolate milk.

Preparation: 80 C° / 1g = 250ml of water (+ milk and sugar)
