Xishuangbanna Loose Leaf Puerh - Sheng (Raw) | 2007 Vintage
From a single harvest in spring 2007 from a private garden in the Xishuangbanna autonomous prefecture, Yunnan province (China). This Sheng (raw, naturally fermented by aging) Puerh tea was produced exclusively for us. It has aged in our Hong Kong warehouse for over 12 years.
Flavor profile: Its amber liquor offers floral, citrus, black mulberry notes, as well as a hint of smoked cedar. Its rich and gourmet notes leave a round and unctuous sensation in the mouth, giving a sweet creamy impression. A grand cru!
Recommended brewing techniques:
5g for 250ml (1g per 50ml) / 95°C water / 8 infusions guaranteed
Pre-rinse the leaves (quick 3-second infusion) with 95°C water, then let the leaves rest for about 15 seconds before the 1st infusion.
Recommended infusion times:
1st infusion: 15 seconds
2-5 infusions: 12 seconds
6-8 infusions: 18 seconds
