Shizuoka Sencha "Tenryū no Tomi" [Reserve Grade]

(Shizuoka, Japan) From Shizuoka, Sencha Tenryū no Tomi [Reserve Grade] is an experimental Fukamushi green tea. It was carefully handcrafted from a batch of high-mountain reserve tea plants, near the famous Tenryū River.

Its intensely green and opaque liquor offers a fresh bouquet of vegetal notes that are both rich and light on the palate, with hints of nettle, cherry blossom, ripe exotic fruits like mango, and a sweet finish reminiscent of corn. A grand cru that embodies the spring nature of the terroir.
