This famous competition-grade green tea from the Chiran region comes from the Yabukita cultivar. The name of this Sencha means "Spring Breeze". Its flat, fine, very light leaves from the first harvest produce a jade green infusion due to a long steaming process.
On the palate, it offers intense notes of fresh vegetables, the famous umami, as well as sweet potato and sweet notes. It is very evolving in taste and is most interesting on the palate after consumption.
