Our Yame tea garden has been the recipient of numerous global awards for the excellence of its products for years and is ISO 22000 certified. This tea is a complex blend of premium leaves including first-harvest Gyokuro and Senchas from different seasons. Yame's Kukicha Karigane is the authentic Kukicha and is the pinnacle of twig teas, in a class of its own.
The leaves are then shaped using a unique and secret garden process to give it its unique and incomparable taste.
Low in theine but very nutritious, its taste is powerful and refreshing with a toasted, malty note, an intense aroma reminiscent of mango and the famous umami.
