(Miyazaki, Japan) From Miyazaki Prefecture - reputed to produce the best organic teas in Japan. This medium-roasted green tea is handcrafted in the traditional "Hon Dentou" method. It comes from Zairai cultivar tea bushes, growing wild on hillsides. Its leaves are harvested in early winter.
It offers subtly woody notes, cocoa, ground cherry, wild honey, and a smooth finish reminiscent of sweet milk. It is very low in theine and suitable for evening consumption. A grand cru!
