Our Yame tea garden has been the recipient of numerous global awards for product excellence for years and is ISO 22000 and JAS certified.
This green tea, made from the Yabukita cultivar, comes from the first summer harvest. Its flat, thin leaves have been lightly roasted at the finish, yielding a yellow-green infusion.
On the palate, it offers complex, sweet vegetal-marine notes, umami, citrus, a touch of roasted nuts, as well as a velvety and creamy gourmet mouthfeel. It is an excellent, very affordable tea that contains less theine!
