The Matcha Iri Gyokuro is a house blend from Guru Teas, made from green teas. It was produced from the 1st spring harvest, consisting of Gyokuro and Matcha leaves, both of which have won international awards of excellence.
When brewed, its intensely green liquor offers fresh and light notes of vegetables, umami, and flowers, leaving a very pleasant sweet sensation in the mouth. Excellent hot or cold as iced tea!
For ease of use, this grand cru tea is packaged in individual 100% biodegradable pouches, made from bamboo and corn flour.
Preparation (for 500ml):
Iced Tea: Add 350ml of water at 30C° to a container with 1 tea bag and let steep for 3 minutes. Add ice to reach approximately 500ml total, then shake the container well for 15 seconds. Let rest for 1 minute before consuming.
Hot Tea: Steep 600ml of water at 70C° with 1 tea bag for 2-3 minutes. Remove the bag and serve.
