SINGLE CULTIVAR SERIES | Sakimidori

This Matcha from Kagoshima Prefecture is made from a single cultivar, Sakimidori. This rare and prized cultivar is the result of over 90 years of hard work by Japanese artisans and tea masters. It is also prized and recommended by the Japanese Ministry of Agriculture. Previously reserved only for Sencha style tea production, it is being produced as Matcha for the first time.

On the palate, it starts with rich and powerful notes of umami, cream and a hint of pistachio, then opens up to floral and fresh notes, leaving a sweet and gourmet sensation at the finish.

Preparation : Usucha ceremonial style: 75 C° / 2g = 100ml water (or diluted to 125ml)
