(Miyazaki, Japan) Miyazaki Prefecture is renowned for producing Japan's finest organic teas. This Shirocha, also known as Hakucha, is the first true Japanese white tea, made from the first spring harvest and coming from wild Zairai cultivar tea bushes. It is made in the style of the famous Chinese white tea ''Bai Mu Dan'', but with much more interesting and complex notes.
Sweet and fresh on the palate, it offers floral notes reminiscent of jasmine, fruit notes such as peach, as well as oat and umami. A well-rounded finish and a sweet sensation are left at the end, reminiscent of a beautiful sunny spring day. A rare and exclusive grand cru!
