(Miyazaki, Japan) Miyazaki Prefecture is renowned for producing Japan's finest organic teas. This white tea, also known as Hakucha, was crafted from the leaves of the Kanayamidori cultivar, a cross between the Yabukita cultivar and Zairai #6. This tea, whose leaves come from the 1st harvest of spring, was aged for 6 months to concentrate the aromas and offer more complex notes.
It initially offers sweet and comforting notes of lily of the valley and plantain, then awakens with rich, gourmet notes of apricot, cane, lilac, and honey, finishing with a cucumber freshness. A rare and exclusive grand cru that is very evolving on the palate!
