WAGASHI NERIKIRI SCULPTING

During this workshop, guided by our pastry chef Tsz Ha, participants will learn how to make wagashi nerikiri, traditional Japanese sweets served as an accompaniment during tea ceremonies.
Participants will learn to sculpt two seasonal designs using sweetened bean paste. Each person will be able to make four pastries.
Participants will also learn how to whisk a ceremonial matcha and will conclude the activity with a tasting of one of our current grand cru matchas.
