Our Yame tea garden has received numerous global awards for the excellence of its products for years, and is ISO 22000 and JAS certified.
This "reserve" grade Shincha of the Asamushi type is artisanally produced, limited to 10kg, on the mountain peaks of the Yame terroir. It was made from the very rare Z1 cultivar, thus offering a beautiful umami intensity due to its rich soil. A light roasting by the garden's grand master was done at the end to give it more complexity.
Its rich and gourmet liquor opens with notes of umami, cream, toasted nuts, then evolves into notes of exotic fruits and cherry blossom, finishing with a sweet touch. A memorable grand cru, with a beautiful length on the palate!
