Originating from the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, this oolong is a great classic among Gong Fu tea enthusiasts. Coming from wild tea trees, it has a higher mineral content than the average oolong due to deeper roots that seek more nutrients deep underground.
Its large, whole, first-quality, heavily oxidized leaves are lightly roasted to give it a rustic, woody, and mineral character, evolving into a complex note of fruit and nuts. Very evolving with great roundness, it has a good length in the mouth.
