Masters Series
Seiho (正峰) is a prestigious name in the world of Japanese ceramics, inextricably linked to master craftsman Seiho Tsuzuki, from Tokoname, a region renowned for its unglazed tea sets (Kyusu). His finely crafted teapots are prized worldwide for their elegance, delicate integrated ceramic mesh, and hand-painted details. Master craftsman: Seiho Tsuzuki. Seiho Tsuzuki is recognized as a pioneer of Tokoname ceramics, celebrated for his precision, his fine brushwork, and his talent for painting his teapots himself. Clay types: His works are often made from red clay (Shudei), emblematic of Tokoname, as well as black clay and high-fired ceramics. Characteristic motifs: His teapots frequently feature nature-inspired motifs, such as cherry blossoms (Sakura), autumn leaves, or butterflies.
