Kiyomizu ceramic (Kiyomizu-yaki) is a traditional and refined Japanese ceramic, originating from the Gojozaka district, near Kyoto's Kiyomizu Temple. Characterized by hand-painted motifs in vibrant colors and delicate glazes, this prestigious production combines various artistic techniques. Today, all traditional Kyoto ceramics are grouped under the name Kyo-yaki/Kiyomizu-yaki.
