(Kagoshima, Japan) This oolong was created by Japan's largest tea producer, who is also one of the most highly regarded for the excellence of their products. This tea, praised in Japan in 2020 upon its market introduction, was finally roasted by master Han Le.
When steeped, it opens with woody, mineral, full-bodied, astringent notes, then explodes with the fragrance of lilac. On the palate, you get notes of toasted nuts, spices, caramelized ripe fruit, ultimately reminiscent of lychee. A unique result, this complex tea is the pinnacle of roasting!
