Hong Yu 18 - (Sun Moon Lake, Taiwan) This famous red tea from Yuchi village is the genetic cross of an Assam cultivar from Burma and Taiwanese wild tea trees - Qing Xin cultivar. It is the result of over 60 years of hard work by the "Taiwanese Tea Research People" entity.
Its amber liquor offers complex and rich notes of cocoa, date, cherry, caramel, and cinnamon. It leaves a fresh sensation reminiscent of mint and lilacs, and a sweet aftertaste of cane sugar. A competition tea of exceptional and memorable quality.
