Kiyomizu ware (Kiyomizu-yaki) is a traditional and refined Japanese ceramic, originating from the Gojozaka district, near Kyoto's Kiyomizu Temple. Characterized by hand-painted designs with vibrant colors and delicate glazes, this prestigious production combines various artistic techniques. Today, all traditional Kyoto ceramics are grouped under the appellation Kyo-yaki/Kiyomizu-yaki.
