WAGASHI NERIKIRI SCULPTURE accompanied by ceremonial matcha!
A creative activity for everyone,
offered at our tea school Charyū - 6872 St-Hubert Street!
In this workshop, guided by our pastry chef Tsz Ha, participants will learn how to make wagashi nerikiri, traditional Japanese sweets served as an accompaniment during tea ceremonies.
Participants will learn to sculpt two seasonal models using sweet bean paste. Each person will be able to make four pastries.
Participants will also learn how to whisk ceremonial matcha and will complete the activity with a tasting of one of our grand cru matcha of the moment.
