Production: Eco-responsible product from healthy and natural farming without chemicals, without the use of pesticides and produced fairly according to the international standards of "Rainforest Alliance" and "Ethical Tea Partnership".
This Pu-Erh comes from Menghai, renowned for the highest quality standards in aged teas. These "cooked" (shou) tea nuggets are the result of a long aging of tea leaves; over time, the leaves at the bottom of the baskets are crushed and compacted together. Thus, the aging conditions are changed so that the taste and benefits are enhanced and made more complex, giving another dimension to Pu-Erh. This tea was lightly roasted at the end to give it more complexity and depth.
On the palate, it offers incomparable smooth and sweet notes reminiscent of milk chocolate, dried date, a hint of mushroom, camphor, and a bouquet of spices. It is one of the most unique and pleasant Pu Erh Shou! It also offers one of the greatest number of re-infusions.
