CONG MEI - (Fujian, China) This white tea originates from Fujian province in Fuding county. Traditionally, white tea was reserved exclusively for emperors. This tea, from the Dai Bai cultivar, consists of buds and its first two leaves, harvested exclusively in spring. The leaves are picked and sun-dried to preserve their natural taste as much as possible, along with their benefits and nutrients.
Its liquor offers slightly smoky notes of camphor and date, like a cross between Puerh Sheng and Shou. This tea can be aged to enhance its taste and benefits.
