This Pu-Erh tea cake is made from over 200-year-old wild Lao Ban Zhang tea trees from Yong De County, located in Lincang Prefecture, Yunnan Province. This Sheng (raw) Pu-Erh was produced from the first spring harvest. Matured to perfection in our warehouses in Hong Kong, it offers a tea with no astringency and a well-balanced flavor.
Flavor profile: Its amber liquor offers a very lively aromatic bouquet reminiscent of flowers and dried fruits such as plum, with a subtle hint of camphor that quickly disappears. Soft and silky on the palate, it leaves a refreshing impression with a very sweet finish. This is a very interesting and flavorful vintage Pu-erh!
