1- Meadowsweet contains salicylates, molecules from which aspirin originates; people allergic to aspirin should be very careful with it.
2- Since the molecule is sufficiently different, it cannot be attributed the blood-thinning capabilities attributed to aspirin.

As a single herb: 1 teaspoon per cup of water, infuse for 10 minutes covered. You can drink 3 cups a day without issue.
