This oolong originates from the famous Li Shan mountain (Pear Mountain - in reference to the famous and succulent pears that grow on this mountain) on the island of Taiwan. It is the highest altitude tea in the world.
Its golden liquor is both delicate and complex, offering dominant notes of fresh pear, gardenia flower, cream, a hint of citrus and a sweet sensation reminiscent of sugarcane, among others. With a very nice aromatic length on the palate, it is the rarest and most prized high mountain tea in Taiwan, with an artisanal production of only a few kilograms per year.
