Originating from the Yunnan region, this red tea has a history dating back to the Qing dynasty. It is composed of leaves from the first harvest and comes from 50-70 year old wild tea trees of the Da Ye cultivar; a high quality picking.
Its rich wine-red liquor offers notes of malt, honey, complex fruits and flowers such as hibiscus. This tea is one of the best classic red teas from the Feng Qing region to be drunk in Gong Fu style.
