This Beng cha is a limited edition that was produced to celebrate the Year of the Ox. Hailing from Yue Le Shan mountain, in Xishuangbanna - Yunnan province, it was made from the finest tea tree buds of the first spring harvest in the region.
Taste profile: Its brown liquor offers rich and gourmet notes of date, molasses, and velvety caramel, with a hint of camphor, mushroom cream, and mineral. It is a well-balanced grand cru!
Recommended brewing techniques:
5g for 250ml (1g per 50ml) / water at 95° C / 1min. / 5 infusions
Pre-rinse the leaves (quick 3-second infusion) with water at 95° C, then let the leaves rest for about 30 seconds before the 1st infusion.
