From tea trees in the Lincang region of Yunnan province, this Pu-Erh Shou (ripe) has matured to perfection in our Hong Kong warehouses.
Taste profile: Its brown liquor offers complex notes of date, prune, camphor, menthol, and liquorice; balanced, sweet, round and velvety on the palate with a touch of "hui gan." A grand cru.
Recommended brewing techniques:
5g for 250ml (1g per 50ml) / water at 95°C / 25sec. / 10 assured infusions
Rinse the leaves beforehand (quick 3-second infusion) with water at 95°C, then let the leaves rest for about 30 seconds before the first infusion.
