Country: China
Region: Fujian
Grade: Reserve
Originally from the famous Wuyi Mountain in the Fujian region, this bud tea comes from the first harvest of spring. This highly oxidized tea has smoky notes, without actually being smoky, like a Lapsang Souchong, to create a contrast of taste and aromas.
Thus, we obtain notes of wild berries and orange, floral, honeyed and malty; all contrasted with the smoky hint typical of a black tea. It has a very good length in the mouth. This tea is considered the pinnacle of Gong Fu style black teas and is highly prized by connoisseurs of this type.
