(Fujian, China) This white tea originates from the Fujian province in Fuding County. Traditionally, white tea was exclusively reserved for emperors. This tea, from the Dai Bai cultivar, is composed of buds and its first two leaves, harvested exclusively in spring. The leaves are picked and sun-dried to best preserve their natural taste and as many of their benefits and nutrients as possible. The leaves are finally mixed with tangerine peels, then pressed into 5g pellets and aged.
Its liquor offers notes of tangerine, jasmine flowers, a touch of warm spices, leaving a smooth and sweet sensation on the finish. This tea can be aged to improve in taste and benefits.
