WAGASHI NERIKIRI SCULPTING accompanied by ceremonial matcha!

offered at our tea school Charyū - 6872 St-Hubert Street!
During this workshop, guided by our pastry chef Tsz Ha, participants will learn how to make wagashi nerikiri, these traditional Japanese sweets served as an accompaniment during tea ceremonies.
Participants will learn to sculpt two seasonal designs using sweet bean paste. Each person will be able to make four pastries.
Participants will also learn how to whisk ceremonial matcha and will complete the activity with a tasting of one of our grand cru matchas of the moment.
