Origin: Ureshino, Saga Prefecture, Japan
Grade: Imperial, first spring harvest
Cultivar: Yabukita
(Saga, Japan) This exceptional quality tea, from the first spring harvest, was produced from the classic Yabukita cultivar, originating from the Ureshino terroir; the most renowned for this type of tea. Its leaves are cooked and roasted at high temperature in a traditional way in a wok according to the ancestral Chinese technique; the oldest green tea production technique. Thus, a tea is obtained that is soft and refreshing without astringency or herbaceous notes.
It offers light notes of roasting and nuts, contrasted by a roundness with sweet and tangy sensations.
