Managed by the Umehara family, this pottery is world-renowned for its exceptional handmade clay teapots, known as kyusu. Key information about Tamamitsu pottery: The artisans: The Umehara family, notably the late Harutaka Umehara (a certified traditional craftsman) and his son Hirotaka Umehara, craft these pieces.
