The Story of Thés Guru - Masters of Tea and Ancestral Knowledge

Since 2003, a passion has driven THÉS GURU – Masters of Tea and Ancestral Knowledge, that of keeping the art of tea alive in its purest and most traditional form. Our flagship store located at 1289 rue Beaubien Est in Montreal is not just a tea shop, it is a unique haven where a warm lounge, a vibrant matcha bar and a discovery counter come together.

Here, time stands still. You can enjoy a carefully prepared beverage, accompany your stop with a treat, or dive into our collection of over 600 exceptional teas and herbal teas, offered loose or wholesale for resale.

The Balance Between Expertise and Well-Being

Thés Guru products are the result of a quest for excellence led by our expert sommeliers, great tea masters from around the world, passionate artisans and local professionals certified in natural health.

Our signature range brings together our most popular, flavorful and beneficial blends. It covers all types of teas and herbal teas to meet every need and all tastes, always accompanied by a selection of accessories carefully chosen for preparation and service.

The Journey Behind Every Cup

• The Awakening of Spring: We primarily select the precious first spring harvests. It is these very young shoots, bathed in light, that give our exclusive imports and house-made creations their incomparable aromas.
• Respect for the Land and Its People: Because ancestral knowledge cannot exist without conscience, every leaf comes from ethical producers, certified ISO, organic or fair trade.
• The Ritual Within Reach: To make the experience complete, we have gathered a full collection of traditional Chinese and Japanese accessories. Timeless tools designed to enhance every infusion, whether you are taking your first steps or are a seasoned professional.
